Design development of the chair has been in close association with professionals within the caring industry so that the result is a practical solution to comfort and weight demands. Assessment Centre Our assessment centre has a showroom containing a wide range of specialist products including Beds, Chairs, Bathing Products, etc. To the best of our knowledge, we have the largest display of Bariatric products in the UK. The showroom is fitted with a large ceiling hoist giving access to all areas. OTs are welcome to bring clients to the showroom for assessment or product appraisal. We are happy to carry out joint assessments throughout the UK for most of our Bariatric products or you can visit our Harlow assessment centre to view the full range of Bariatric Products. Free parking is available immediately outside the showroom, with level wheelchair access, and we are open 7 days a week, by appointment

The Fitform Hermes is designed to accommodate those up to 240 kg or 40 stone in weight. The Hermes is a made-to-measure armchair that will provide the correct sitting height, sitting depth and armrest height combined with a correct seat width and lumbar support. The Hermes features a comprehensive range of adjustments that enables superb comfort when sitting and facilitates an effortless standing action. All the electrically powered functions, the stand-up powerlift, tilt-in-space motion, back recline and legrest elevation can be adjusted independently to ensure the most appropriate comfortable seating position Unique to the Fitform range is the ability to tilt-in-space, allowing the backrest and the seat to be tilted backwards without any change in seat angle. This tilt adjustment system maintains body posture, support and stability in the pelvis, ensuring an even balance of weight and pressure distribution. Within the Fitform range is the option to incorporate a Transflo pressure relieving seat cushion to provide added pressure relief, particularly for those seated for lengthy periods. The Transflo pressure relieving seat cushion can be built into the seat module providing excellent pressure relief for those with medium to high risk of pressure problems, without changing the dimensions of the seat height that has been individually tailored for you. The Transflo's two connected gel sacs encapsulated within the cushion respond to even the subtlest of movements, yet provide the greatest of protection

35 Stone Chair This chair is available in widths from 24" to 28". Two motors are fitted to the leg lift for added stability. Leg lift capacity 70kg (11 stone)
40 Stone Chair This chair was manufactured for a lady who is short and very wide, but demanded a cottage style chair to blend in with her existing furniture. Seat width 36" and a seat height of 15"
